Evergreen Psychotherapy LLC
About my practice:
I offer Individual, Family and Group Therapy in the State of Maine. My office is located in Portland. I see clients both in-person and virtually.
I believe that an authentic, trusting relationship is foundational to growth and healing. I recognize that each person brings a unique story and set of experiences, and I approach my work with sensitivity and responsiveness to these differences. My practice is trauma-informed, nuerodiversity-affirming and attachment-focused; my style is warm, open, and often infused with humor.
I enjoy supporting neurodiverse individuals and their families at any stage of life, helping them find acceptance, establish healthy relational patterns, boundaries and understand communication differences. I emphasize mindfulness to foster increased awareness of individual neurology while building practical skills.
I am drawn to working with adolescents and young adults with ADHD and ASD who face challenges with executive functioning. The intersection of trauma with these challenges is something I am particularly attuned to. I not only focus on functional skills, but help people reconnect with their bodies and detach from limiting beliefs formed by a world that wasn't designed for them.
I understand that seeking help and inviting others into your world can be difficult. I truly appreciate your willingness to be here, and I am excited to meet you and support you on your journey of growth, acceptance, and healing.
