Molly Tarr, LCSW, LLC
I believe building trust and safety is an essential first step to our therapeutic journey together. My approach is centered around meeting you with compassion, understanding, and expertise. With a background in supporting adults and adolescents, I've helped individuals navigate complex experiences with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, Autism Spectrum and ADHD. Through a collaborative process, we'll work together to identify your specific needs and develop a personalized plan for growth and healing.
Though I'm trained in a range of modalities, including EMDR, DBT, ACT, and am IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed, my lens is trauma sensitive, neurodiversity affirming, strengths based, and relational. I use somatic, cognitive and mindfulness approaches, adapting my technique based on your evolving needs and life experiences.
I appreciate how difficult it can feel to invite someone into your world, and so I have a deep respect for your willingness to explore this step. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully becoming a part of your process.
I've helped individuals navigate complex experiences with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Work together to develop a personalized plan based on your individual needs.
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
Helping individuals build practical tools and confidence to thrive.
Trauma
Working through past experiences in a safe, supportive, and trauma-informed space.
Anxiety and Life Transitions
Providing support for anxiety, overwhelm, and life's changes with compassion.
Clinical Autism Assessment
Clinical autism assessments are designed to help individuals gain a deeper understanding of their brain wiring, needs, and how to incorporate key aspects of their neurodiversity into their personal identity. Unlike a medical autism assessment, a clinical assessment does not focus on eligibility for support services, social security, or medication management. Instead, it aims to provide insight into the individual's unique cognitive and emotional experiences.
